WCQR2025 – 9th World Conference on Qualitative Research

The 9th World Conference on Qualitative Research (WCQR2025) will be held from 4 to 6 February 2025 at Jagiellonian University, in Kraków, Poland, and from 11 to 13 February 2025 Online.

Each edition brings together researchers from 40+ countries, world-renowned authors, and research groups sharing their experiences in the field, making the WCQR one of the most relevant platforms for discussing and disseminating the best scientific production in Qualitative Research. WCQR2025 is inviting researchers, scholars, and practitioners from around the world to contribute their valuable insights and expertise.

Selected paper abstracts will be considered for publication in affiliated journals.

Important notice:

• At least one author of each accepted abstract must register to guarantee the presentation of the work at WCQR2025.
• All authors who wish to participate in the presentation of their work must register as authors (presenting in person or online).
• If you are attending in person, please register under the In-person option(s).
• If you are attending online, please register under the Online option(s).
• If you are presenting works, please choose the registration option that applies to you:
  • Author (presenting in person or online): If you have accepted abstract(s) at WCQR2025.
  • Panel Discussion facilitators (presenting in person or online): If you have an accepted panel discussion proposal.
  • Master’s / Doctorate students (presenting online): If you are a Master’s or Doctorate student and have accepted abstract(s) at WCQR2025. Students must provide proof of their status with a copy of their student card.
• Each registered author is allowed to present a maximum of two abstracts. The second abstract must be added to their registration as “Extra Abstract”.
• Panel Discussion facilitators may also submit one abstract included in their registration as panel presenters. For a second abstract, they must pay for the item “Extra Abstract”.
• The “Participant” option applies only to participants without submitted works to the conference who just wish to attend the sessions.
• The face-to-face program will include in-person presentations, while the online program will consist of virtual sessions. The program structure will depend on the presentation mode selected by the presenters.
• Registration of authors/participants in online mode will grant access to the online sessions and keynote talks only.
